Try the poundland and get some killer but if you put an advert in your local shop window asking for gardener you will not have to do the garden there is a bloke around here on benefits doing gardens and does a very good job too try that .

Hey there I'm a Gardner. The cheapest & safest killer is to dilute rock salt in water. Works really well & is cheap as chips..

cheapest way to get rid of them is to get a hoe (the wooden kind) and spend as long as it takes to rip em out. When and/if some grow back rip em out again. simples

I'm afraid not. A hoe will leave the routs. & then they are back.

digging them up root and all is the way to go - but is effort - some chemical killers put stuff into the earth that means you cannot grow stuff for 6 months and can be harmful to animals etc -so labels need to be read --

well when i mentioned rock salt i presume its the one you put in dish

washers no relation to gardening products but then again there will be chemicals in there unless its pure

rock salt (sodium) out of the ground have never heard of it being used to Control s before worth checking up on.....

Spray with white vinegar, it's acid and really kills them, spray leaves and cut below them after a week, spray the cut, repeat for two weeks, hope it helps ;-

Plenty of yards of black sheeting ...

Lay it over the whole garden and it'll kill everything off underneath without having to use any chemicals

Seen it in pals gardens a few times, dandelions still come up through it, they spread from next door, so if you use the black sheet spread it up a few inches over next doors fences & cut the growing light off the shoots.

Someone mentioned using salt to kill s. It will also ruin your soil and make desired plants more difficult to grow afterwards. Some s that are perennial will need clearing off, as their woody stems will take a long time to decompose. Clear large debris and then treat in your closen manner.

Yes I always like to check up first before I know what I,m doing If it was that easy

to kill s there perhaps would,nt be

so many chemical companys involved but there are, while on the subject I have

let a ragwort mature and bloom looks ok

on its own and is a magnet for flying

beetles and cinnabar moths good for photographing but its the

seedheads you have to watch one ragwort

will make a thousand in a year, its just

makeing sure you balance things out, the

Trouble with nature is it will take Advantage given the chance and it don,t

need many of them ...
