Is too long, with regards to a first message. I know we complain about the 'hi how are you?' And 'fancy a fuck?' But I just received a message that was 85 lines long. Yes I counted but that's the only way I could explain exactly how long this message was! If I'm honest I can't face reading it because it's so bloody long, anyone else think it's a bit excessive?! |

Lol that is a tad excessive. But I suppose whoever it is wants to make sure you get the FULL picture lol. An introduction and what their expectations are I think would suffice. But since you've received a novel from that person, build up the courage and read it. You never know. You may find that your interest is piqued enough to receive a sequel |

I wouldn't either and it does seem odd when someone sends a message that is longer than their profile though I am not sure whether to count where someone has put the start of what they want to do and I am supposed to say what happens next?? |

A couple of lines is plenty long enough for me. Especially when they have put thought into their profile. And even better if they have attached a face pic (though not imperative as if I'm interested I'll ask).
The really long ones just make me think they cut and paste so even if they have spent ages carefully crafting it to suit me they've shot themselves in the foot there. |

Too small, too long, or just right ?
Are you goldilocks ?
Tbh if it is that long, then I'd agree with TD that it has to be a stock message and cut and pasted.
I reckon about 7 keeps most people happy |

Have you thought if adding something like messages to be no less than two hundred words and no more than two hundred and fifty words. At least it gives them a fighting chance |

It looks very much like it's been copied and pasted, there's nothing in its content that indicates he read my profile!
