Right before Christmas I’ve seen that dreaded red/pink line on my lft test. I’ve done my PCR today to confirm or rule out if it’s actually covid. I do feel rough as rats though. so there goes my Christmas and birthday plans.  .
Send me filth/nudes/jokes to cheer me up as I’m currently being held prisoner in my room as the family are all so worried about catching this.
If it’s not covid it’s a horrible flu bug thingy.

TBH... hun the flu virus is way worse than Covid. Had covid last year, then nothing till the flu virus this October, still not fully over it yet. And no it wasn't covid, I tested negative  |

I’ve just got a cough, dry throat, fatigue, aches and pain. No fever, no loss of smell or taste, can get a bit breathless if I walk too much. I feel shivery but not got a temp. I’ve literally slept all day today. X |

I'm so sorry. Two of my family tested positive yesterday too, two birthday celebrations and Christmas all messed up. It's horrible. I hope you feel better soon   |

It’s my birthday on the 27th. My 30th. I was supposed to be seeing family I’ve not seen in years. So gutted. Let’s hope the PCR is negative. X |

That sucks! What a shitty time to get ill, too.
As someone said above, even if it's "just" the flu, that's still no walk in the park. Flu is absolutely horrible, I get the flu jab every year because I never want to go through that again! |

Yet I went yesterday to get my booster and flu jab only to be told they were not doing flu jabs now as concentrating only on the boosters. Not happy.

I’m in the same boat tested positive 2 days ago. Feeling pretty rough but I’m sure I’ll be fine in a day or 2.
Luckily my kids can still go to their Dads so Xmas is not a total bust for them. And added bonus they’ve deep cleaned the house whilst I sat in bed!

That's good to hear, I have covid apparently, my xmas is messed up, was supposed to be going away but now stuck at home on my own, I've got a curry in the freezer so that'll be my xmas dinner this year  |

My daughter has been feeling the same but her PCR test came back negative last night. So just horrible flu.
