Is it better to sleep cramped up on a sofa, or with a bit more room but on a floor?

(Sober, by the way!)

My boy does this when staying at his friends house. He's too tall to sleep on a sofa .... he hangs over the ends.

It is a good idea to keep a self-inflating mattress of at least 7.5cm thick at home, as it would make any floor a comfy bed in a matter of minutes.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I haven't found a sofa I can't fit on to sleep. As you are having trouble sleeping anyway, why not try both?

It would seem you and he are the same height 6'2", he's still growing though at age 14.

That was about when I stopped growing, and used to come back from school and eat a loaf and a half of toast before doing anything else! Lol

Yep, sounds familiar. He has a 'snack' tea when he comes home from school, a cooked dinner and then a pizza or something for supper.

He pops to the chippy when he's out with his pals because he gets peckish between meals.

He just 'grazes' from the moment his eyes open to just before they close at night.

Fox ache I may have to invest in more sofas to accommodate him and his pals.

I had to blow one up manually once when my darling nephew decided he didn't actually want to share the bed even though it was his idea cos he desperatey wanted to stay at me and I only have one bed

We are lucky, we have a big corner sofa, perfect for sleeping on amongst other things
