Relaxing continental style breakfast with cold meat/ cheeses, crusty rolls and rye bread as well as a cheeky glass of bubbly. Not too early, perhaps 10 or 11 am as dinner is not until about 5.

Now, caution is a must as too much of the old bubbly has an effect on the quality of the xmas dinner output!
