I found it ebbs and flows - something will kick it off - change of routine - I remember chatting with a well known song writer and it was about that - how do you get inspired… for them it happened as soon as they woke up they would jot down some ideas before they even got up. Worked for me too - try that or a change of routine - early morning walk?

I find being created linked to positive mood even processing loss. Sometimes though the mojo just isn’t there and grieving definitely did that to me too. Sounds like you’re beating yourself up on top of the grieving because you’re not being productive - give yourself a break and deal with one thing at a time Id say. Pick up a guitar or whatever and just see if something happens when you jam with a jam track - if it doesnt it doesn’t - it will - it’s the nature of things. |
