I’ve been on the interracial scene a long time and know a lot of women who like black men, but very, very few who are exclusively into black men.
It got me wondering what’s the longest someone has been black men-only? I’d be intrigued to hear. |

Never.
I find it strange that someone would only be attracted to a particular skin colour, unless it's a fetish.
I'm curious OP, as to the reason for the question. Are you comfortable being fetishised due to your skin colour?
I wouldn’t want to meet someone who was attracted to me just because I have very pale skin. |

I think most women fall into 2 categories with regard to the interracial dating scene (not necessarily the swinging scene) there are those who not only love black men but grew up loving black culture (African and Caribbean culture) from food to music and those tend to know pretty early on (like their teens) that they're into black men only.
Then there are those who become black guys only after dating experiences in their 20s or 30s and find it difficult to go back (not speculating, this is from speaking to women about this) and for most women it's not just about cock size it's about colour contrast and viewing black guys in a more positive light than society paints us to be. |

"Personally I can't see how people can either dislike or like people purely based on their skin colour "
I definitely can see how some people can dislike people because of the colour of their skin. I've read really foul comments on right wing and racist websites and they have their views, as vile and as disgusting as they are, they have their views, and I get it. Which is why I'm very cautious about how I interact with white people (especially white women in public) |

Exactly my point. I do not understand those people at all.
Which is why I also can't understand why one would single out someone for their skin tone alone.
It should be about the people not the skin. I know it is not like that in the world sadly. |

I know some people who only go for people with certain hair colour, Some people only date men that are tall.
That's what they are attracted to.
Nothing wrong with that. If you are only attracted to someone of a certain colour skin is that not the same thing?
I'm happy to be educated on this if people have opposing views. |

Since coming to the UK and experiencing a lot of racism, I try to understand the racism from the racist point of view, so hence I'm aware as a big black guy, with dreads I'm seen as a threat, a criminal etc, because that's how society paints us. But when I open mouth amd people actually spend time around me they realise I'm just a pretty chilled, kind hearted fellow.
On a side note, I've written and published a lot on the topic of race relations. |

Oh FFS, this again!!!!!
It’s a sexual preference, not a racial hatred! You might as well call a Lady who doesn’t fancy other ladies, or a Guy who doesn’t fancy other Guy’s, sexist!

"Personally I can't see how people can either dislike or like people purely based on their skin colour " undercover racism. Then they call it preference. Seems OK when women do it but if a man does it its not OK |

It wasn’t the OP that I was referring to _rincess peach, it was some of the subsequent comments that said they couldn’t understand how someone would like another person based on skin colour. |

Attraction maybe? Doesnt mean your racist im atracted to caramel skin but wouldnt sleep with darker skin as the atraction isnt there.. which ultimately is my choice (ill add that my life long best friend is black african before anyone brings out the racist card ) its the same as i would sleep with a blonde i was attracted too but not a red head... the attractions not there. |

My best friend is
Last (and only) white guy she has dated was when she was a teenager, other than him she’s only been with 1 other white guy (which was a one off)
She just doesn’t find white men attractive |

I've seen you say this exact thing before and I just don't understand why you don't treat everyone the same until something actually happens.
What's happened to you to be like that ? |

I treat everyone the same,I was with a black man for 15years but it wasn't about the colour of his skin,it was because of the person he was,I had a child to him,and loved him a lot..
But I've also been in relationships with white men too...goes on attraction and personality for me.. x |

Problem with all these discussion threads is they end up doing exactly what you may have unintentionally done. Blurring colour of skin as sexual preference with bigger nastier racial profiling. It is always contentious to pick a protected characteristic as a sexual "preference" (preference vs prejudice). There are an awful lot on here are only too happy to exploit it: hopefully not the same ones who complain about it afterwards |
