"Are you self isolating, or has it been cancelled?  "
We've all been asked to cancel them by the Medical Director. It's understandable but sad as this is the second Christmas and I was looking forward to finally having a night out with people from this job as I started last November. Some departments that had theirs earlier managed to have them so feeling a bit put out about it . |

Better than having covid for Christmas. 
Tell them to have a Christmas in June party. Xmas tinsel and a BBQ in the sun..  |

That is true. With the amount of people testing positive it does feel safer to be staying home. We're hoping to reschedule for January but I'm not sure how hopeful I am about that. |

It's now supposed to be in January, but not holding much hope for that. Oh well. |

Yeah, the Doctors were supposed to have a ball. I feel for whatever venue was supposed to host that. There's hundreds of them and at their wages I imagine the bar bill is impressive  |

Yeah it was just a matter of timing. We were last minute organising ours to be fair. |
