Vegan protesters are trying to get a nativity procession stopped because there is a real camel and a real donkey being used. My view. They are in the procession and not lined up for a Christmas BBQ.

Unsure what they are protesting about . . How do you know the little donkey doesn't love the attention .

Last year I had the Waitrose 3-bird roast, this year I'm trying the Lidl Donkey.

Nothing to do with vegans whatsoever. It's animal rights activists.

But that doesn't fit with your agenda.

What's your equivalent for veganiot? Meat head maybe?

I didn’t realise until I watched a Chris Packham tv show that donkeys are under threat in a lot of Countries. So we need to look after them, a donkey is for life and not just for Christmas.

As long as the donkey isn't being ridden, I don't really have a problem with it.

They're both being ridden. Think that's what the protest is about.

Ahh, well then no. Especially if it's an adult riding the donkey!

Good. The use of live animals for anything like this should be be banned (as should all animal products).

I think it's just a kid. The riders are appropriate weights for each animal apparently but seems not all agree.

Indeed. Move along. No need to keep feeding this.

Unless it's plant based. Then feed it all you like

I believe in balance, vegans eat no animals at all, so I can eat extra animals to balance it out. Maintaining equilibrium is important.

its always been the way, if you want a animal to thrive, start eating them, look at how many cows etc there are, dont see many ferits for instance, but im sure they tast nice
