Spiderman no way home- avoid if not wanting spoilers
Jump to: Newest in thread
No spoilers please... but I've put a warning just in case.
But saw it on Wednesday and it was great. By far the best spiderman movie yet.
However I've realised seeing movies the day they come out is not good... as you have to basically not talk about it.
For me there were many things that made it a great movie..
Ps why do people still not stay for end credits when they know there will be one

Lady I work with went to watch it Wednesday evening, she also said it was the best Spider-Man ever.
She watched it at one of those special effect cinemas where the chair moves etc. She loved it |

To hear people cheer at 2 very specific moments was wonderful to be in the middle of.
I give a 10/10 (massive Spider-Man fan) maybe lose a point for the multiverse overkill but I can’t wait to watch it again, and I will.
Also the cinema on Wed was packed, even kids in costumes
It’s difficult not talking about what I want to talk about without spoilers, but with great power comes great responsibility.

You are selling it really well. Better than the trailer anyway! Which for a $200m film.. I dont think it sells it well at all! And every TRUE Marvel fan instinctively knows you ALWAYS remain seated until after the credits! We'll be watching before Christmas |

Was balling my eyes out at part of it but yes superb film! Will say first time I’ve noticed that everyone in the cinema stayed for the end credits, you normally get some that up and leave and miss out. |

Film was superb. Finally carried some emotional weight that the original trilogy did. Peter Parker over all characters struggles with being Spider-Man while wanting to have a normal life and how it impacts those around him. This brought it to life for the first time under Holland eta
Not to mention the rest of what happened was superbly done
Have a view on cut scenes but don’t want to even think about spoiling it |

This is what happens when studios give fans what they want, and not political woke narratives and characters than nobody cares about. The proof is in the numbers. |

So I’ve just come out of watching this movie for the 6th time.
Yes the sixth time. I can not rate this movie high enough.
I went in with ridiculously high expectations the first time and they were met and the blown away. This movie is a total love letter to Spider-Man fans. Do you need to of seen other Spider-Man films to enjoy the movie, no. But my god you’re gonna be missing out on a whole host of feel good moments and won’t have the same experience.
It’s an absolute rollercoaster of a movie for emotions. I cried, I laughed and I was on edge.
If ur planning on seeing it see it soon before boris ruins the fun !! It deserves to be seen at the cinema |

I enjoyed it. Because I really enjoyed the love letter to the previous films etc etc.
But couldn't help but feel like it was a tad empty and hollow. Once the excitement factor blew over.
Wanted more of the main antagonist. The rest were too easily dispatched. Was a little too much talking in the final third, and not as much action as you'd have liked to have seen from the "gang".
But some little bits and pieces were very much a love letter to certain points in the series history. And I VERY much appreciated that.
Just a shame that Marvel movies now are basically going to be garbage |
