I can't help thinking that Tiger missed that putt deliberately at the 18th to give Europe a win (which is different from just retaining the Cup). If you look at the putt again you'll see it was a dead straight lie and no more than 5'. He's knocked them in without even thinking about it all his career.

It was an amazing display from the Europeans to come back from 10-6 down though. Justin Rose played out of his skin to beat Mickelson and as for McIlroy, what a star.

Well done Europe, it's always nice to stick one to the Yanks.

Payback for all the negative press he received in America a couple of years ago?

I agree mickleson showed great sportsmanship Europe didn't play too bad over the first 2 days it was just the Americans couldn't miss a thing. I think Ian poulter is a future capain for sure.

My favourite qoute was when a commentator said you won't get a point off poulter without throwing the kitchen sink in for good measure.

Haha what was the one I heard when kymer chipped out from a bunker and the commentator said " ive never been so glad to see a german get out of a bunker" that's got Peter Alliss written all over it!!
