Oh loosing someone on Christmas day is the worst. I lost my grandad on Christmas day when I was 10.

Auntie Jo always liked Turkish delight unlike me, however every Christmas day I force a bar of Turkish delight down my stomach! lol since 1993 lol

Oh that's sweet as. My gran used to buy my mam a packet of walnut whips for Christmas every year, so now I do.

I feel your pain, it’s awful - not sure how you are coping but I haven’t been the same man since I lost mine and that was 6 years ago…..Christmas is still a struggle.

Marks Mam died xmas day 2003, our daughter was born January 2004 so sadly she never got to see her Granddaughter. But our daughter who turns 18 next month is so much like her Gran it's unreal.

Thoughts about all my grandparents - xmas is always difficult. It will be the first one without my brother this year, taken by Covid in January and his first anniversary will be painful. I think of you all at some point every day x
