One in four Brits sleep naked
According to our research, nearly a quarter of UK and Irish adults (23%) sleep au natural, with men more likely to go to bed wearing nothing than women (27% vs. 20%).
How do you sleep? |

That would be a nation of clothed sleepers then. I only go naked on new sheets night or with company. Meaning 364 days a year I sleep in my special y fronts |

I sleep in a pair of panties.
If one in four Brits sleep naked then we’re not actually a nation of naked sleepers as that means there are 3 times more people who don’t sleep naked than who do. We’re actually a nation of not naked sleepers. |

It depends what demographic you’re considering. I’d say hardly anyone under the age of 18 sleeps naked, similarly the majority of people from the age of 60 and older probably wear something to sleep in. So most naked sleepers are going to be aged between 18 and 60 and then not all of them will sleep naked. It also depends on the time of year as well, is someone who sleeps naked in the summer but not during the winter considered a naked sleeper or not? |

Naked and loving it. Until covers pull over. And I get cold. Then hubby wakes up and thinks I’m having a sexy dream! No Mark, just cold because you’ve pulled covers off!! |

I’m another of those that feels odd naked in bed.
I actually don’t sleep well if I am, I’ve thought about this a lot … I can sleep totally topless and no issues. I genuinely sleep better with pj bottoms on, no synthetic crap though, soft cotton.
I think it’s a mental thing - I don’t like the feeling of my thighs touching each other, it feels hot and uncomfortable. It reminds me of horribly uncomfortable summer days as a teenager being told (by adults) I had chunky thighs but them not telling me chub rub was normal.
I’ve finally … almost 30 years later… got over my chunky thigh insecurities and think they are just part of my lovely figure and chub rub is a think for people of all sizes. I still don’t like the feeling of my thighs touching though
I have a flat sheet in my bed for wrapping round me and between my thighs for those times I have company so I’m effectively naked for more sleepy play. I don’t sleep the best those nights anyway |

Naked for sure.
You wear clothes in the day , your sheets and duvet are your clothes at night.
More importantly your private parts need airing for want of a better word.
Going to bed clothed is like having a bath dressed. |

I'll occasionally sleep naked, usually if I've fake tanned or I'm with someone, but not as standard.
I wouldn't put the same underwear or PJs on for a week each night after bathing, so I wouldn't fancy sleeping naked in the same bed sheets for a week either and I don't want to be changing them daily! I think I'm just being weird with that though as I'm not that dirty |

Naked.
If I'm room sharing in a none sexy way (snowboarding we often have 3 or 4 to a room) I'll wear a vest top and knickers, super soft material (generally viscose) with a slight stretch. It has to feel like I'm not wearing anything or I can't sleep. |

Rarely naked.
No thank you.
When in company, that's it.
I don't want my sleep fart touching my sheets, I don't want any bugs having access to my foof in the summer when the windows are open, I also don't want to be greeted by my own mole rat reflection when I wake in the morning. |

"Naked for me, a nightie for her ladyship. I will occasionally wear more if I'm cold but mostly end up too hot and stripping in the dark.
Mr"
I can't sleep naked although my nighties are basically barely there slips and by the time I wake up it's around my waist and a boob has escaped

Back home, sure I slept naked or just with a t shirt on, atm though over here it's honestly way too cold to sleep naked lol plus I'm in a flatshare atm and the bathroom is downstairs so it's not entirely logical to sleep naked atm.
My first 2 places in the UK had bathroom ensuit so I still slept with just a t shirt on, but now I sleep fully clothed |

"I don't like sleeping naked. I want even the tiniest layer of some cosy fabric against me. Not prude. Just a comfort thing. "
Totally with you on this, I have all the layers on in bed, it's only very recently that i've started taking my socks off, if on the off chance we've been doing the duvet dance my clothes vack on seconds after i've climaxed love feeling cosy and warm. |
