Tip for dyeing your hair

While going through several YouTube videos, chatting with female friends, and even the store clerk who advised me on the products to use (she's an ace. It came out better than I expected)

You should definitely use an oil on your scalp before adding the bleaching product to dye your hair. I left it in for about an hour, and my scalp never burned.

So just thought I would share that tip. Carry on

"How does your hair feel?"

Good to be honest, will twist it tomorrow evening (heading to the gym in a bit) it doesn't feel too dry or brittle etc.

That's great! My hair hates bleach it took me two years to get my hair back in condition after I had highlights with bleach once

After I bleached it, I washed it out. Then used shampoo and conditioner and then used a deep conditioner with coconut oil in it (the brand is Palmers), really did wonders and my hair smells great still 24 hours after tbh

My hair was knotted and I had to use a deep conditioner every time I washed it. Never again. Glad yours has worked well

One reason I have stopped dying ma goatee for a while is that bleaching it was starting to make it too brittle. I think it's recovered now, so may give it another go soon

Probably turquoise or violet again, when I do it red, it soon becomes pink

Violet looks nice on a beard. Red hair dye always faces quickly

I used to dye my hair years ago as it was getting darker as I was getting older. Always used the Nice n Easy from Boots and it turned out great. Eventually stopped doing it and I'm back to my natural colour with gold highlights. I wouldn't lighten my hair again as I love my natural hair colour x
