"...who haven't put our Christmas tree/decorations up yet?
They'll be a few no doubt!
I live on my own so never do it.
Same here
I just don’t care "
I do, I'm just too frigging lazy to get it all out and put it all away again!
I'm shockingly bad at adjusting clocks when the time alters twice a year so it's likely the tree would still be in place in July. |

I haven't yet either.
My street looks so pretty with all the houses and their twinkly lights.
The pub at the end is projecting a snowman onto the side wall of our flats! It looks great, easy for delivery drivers to find, well, in the dark! X |

"Not me either.
I gave my decs to my bestie a few years ago and haven't bothered to buy anymore since becoming single again.
I am working anyway so its just another day/week for me. "
Shall I send you a picture of my baubles instead? |

Thank you, We've been sent on a guilt trip for not doing it, but you all have made us feel better. We will sort it tomorrow though when we get chance to buy a tree. It doesn't help that the place Mr insists on buying it from closes daily at 4pm |

Don't feel bad for not getting it up yet NS, there's far too much pressure on erecting the tree prematurely - all that leads to is drooping, disappointment and dismay. Father Christmas won't be coming down your chimney for over a week, as long as your stockings are ready I'm sure he'll be happy.

"Tree and decs are in the attic still, not in the mood, doesn't help we lost a close relative last Christmas day, torn on how feel or carry on as normal or not. "
So sorry for your loss. Christmas Day must be very emotional for you. Maybe think about what your loved one would say to you about whether to carry on as normal. I'm sure they would want you to try and do something that would make you smile |
