What modern inventions can you not live without but did before they were invented?
For me it’s a sat nav! I have no sense of direction at all, I once sent off to Liverpool and ended up Manchester (don’t ask). If I was going somewhere I’d usually ask my dad for directions and he would tell off the top of his head how to get there (long distance lorry driver), I’d of course have to write it down in detail and then ask, but how do I get on to the M62?

That’s a tough one to answer as I could quite easily live without pretty much everything we have today.
Sat nav is obviously something that opens up a lot more opportunities and just makes travel easier. So I would keep the sat nav and ditch everything else |

*on Fab at 6.50am*  tee hee just teasing! I say that about Twatter but still sign in every day! Although I did genuinely bin off Fakebook and that account has gone, gone! |
