Saw them when I went in to get my frozen snails in garlic butter and scallop gratin for my Christmas and Boxing Day meals.
And I popped into Selfridges' Christmas Shop yesterday when I was in London.

Tins of chocolates and biscuits have also appeared from nowhere and are taking over my supermarkets 
I'm sure the tins were bigger when I was a kid. Used to use them afterwards for taking cooking ingredients to school... you'd struggle to put more than a bit of butter and some flour in an empty one these days. |
