Yeah he’s a very talented song writer without doubt. Can’t imagine he puts on a good show though? Seems to have zero personality.

There’s one song I can’t listen to for similar reasons, two actually. However they’re beautifully written.

Seen him live a couple of times and he’s an exceptionally talented musician. Can’t exactly say much about him personally as he’s extremely private and I don’t believe we ever see the real him!

The Town by The Cross

I like his song and the way he keeps re-releasing it with some of the notes in a different order.

I can't take to him as a personality. He seems like the really really really nice boy who lives in your street that you can only be in the company of for two minutes.

He has a lot of money. Someone likes him.

If you watch Yesterday, he has a significant role in that.

My all time favourite video is of him shopping in a mall and then surprising someone singing one of his songs. Doesn’t come across as pretentious.

I'm the opposite... He seems a nice enough feller... But I'd rather listen to someone dragging nails down a blackboard than listen to his tripe... But plenty seem to like his stuff so good luck to him. If you can make money selling formulaic x factor music...go for it.

I'm not familiar with supermarket flowers... But that's a pretty good name / label for the formula's musak he churns out.

Not a particularly heavy rock. More of a progressive one.

For the last 20 years or so I have been hiding away in winter enjoying Soca and Calypso at source so, one way or another, coupled with not having a telly, not much chance of chancing on the musical genre produced by the likes of Mr Sheeran!

Clacton on sea, Essex

A genius and genuinely nice guy, I remember filming him and buying a signed CD off him when he was at the Salvation Army in Clacton doing a gig before he was famous.

My daughters friend was also doing a gig that night and that's how we met him, the CD I have has songs never released...so far.

Agreed. He embodies everything about music today. Fake, forgettable, safe, chewing gum pop in one ear and out the other.

People now days never hear of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Leonard Cohen, Bill Withers?

It’s the looper pedal he uses that makes him sound talented. Same 4 chords, and 4/4 time signature as every other shitty pop song (pop=manufactured B.S.), give me prog rock any day of the week!

He never seems to be arrogant, he seems very laid back, and so he's in my good books, I'd say he just makes music because he enjoys it, he doesn't seem to bothered if people like it or hate it, I'm sure he gets alot of trolling yet he's never negative
