Pros and cons . We have teams so can contact anyone but I suppose it's the general conversations etc that office entails , but also are you more productive at home or office. |

"2 years straight nearly. Been in the office 4 times since Feb 2020. Starting to hate it tbh. Not missing the commute fees though. Rock and hard place!"
Exactly the same for me. Great saving money. Not great being alone for so long in the same environment, constantly. |

I work from home. But I've had enough and am looking forward to getting back into the office at least three days per week.
I miss the office camaraderie.
I miss the City 'vibe' (or what's left of it).
I miss the spontaneity of meeting a friend or two for lunch or a quick after-work gin before heading home.
And the commute from my home/station/office was good for my overall 'step count'. |

Starting to detest it now, do miss the social element of the office & being able to get up & go to the kitchen for a free coffee/hot choc.
That and miss the Friday evening vibes in the square mile. |

Worked from home past 6 yrs, love it flexibility and freedom is great but when I first started it took a while to get in the routine but now it's a no brainer |

I did during the worst of covid but now I’m hybrid working - home/out and about
Working from home is far more productive than when I’m out and about and I like home working. I actually work 9 - 5.15 instead of early doors until silly o’clock
If you’re self motivated and disciplined it’s great! |

Will be two years straight WFH come March. Hated it to start but actually quite enjoy it now, well as much as working is enjoyable. I very much doubt I will ever be back in the office Monday to Friday as we have been told that hybrid hot desking is the plan going forward |

I've worked from home for 3yrs now.
Some days it's OK and then others i really miss the office banter.
Nearest office now is around 3 hrs away.
Would like to go into thr office once or twice a week if i could.

I feel as though I live in an office rather than working from home.
I miss the social element, particularly as I started this job remotely and it's almost impossible to gauge the tone of a company under the current circumstances.
I want to be in an office full of hustle, where if something happens I can just speak to whoever is sitting next to me, I dont have to put a call in someone's calendar.
I want to be able to ask "does anyone know how to X?" and know someone will shout up.
I want to see other people's screens, to find out what I don't know I don't know (been here 6 months before I found out about a system everyone uses that they hadn't thought to mention - in an office I'd have seen someone use it or heard someone mention it in my first couple of weeks).
I like the commute, and rolling out of bed at 8.55 is a dream when I'm such a lazy cow, and I can't lie about what a joy it is to work in pyjama pants. Nonetheless I've lost far more than I've gained from it. |

In my last job I had to work from home during the 1st lockdown, but I went back to the office as soon as I could.
I changed jobs earlier this year and this job can't be done from home. |

I've been WFH at least 2 days a week since 2017, due to disability. It was hard work back then because we didn't have the tools we have now. I'm so used to the 2 home; 3 in split, that I don't notice it anymore. 100% WFH plus lockdown was harder because of the isolation, that's despite Mr KC and I WFH together, often in the same room. I like the split I'm back to now. |

"does make me wonder, if you can work from home, why did you need to go to an office?" it might be the company who insisted as I think there is still a lot of mistrust from management (only speaking for my own feeling with who I work for) and I actually think they get much better value from their staff WFH. If you are a lazy worker and take the piss you will be like that wherever you are!
