All done! Just the perishables grocery shop to do! It’s a benefit of having no friends. Nobody to buy for!

Yup. Its my mission for today! I fucking hate it but had a pep talk yesterday about not putting so much effort in to it.

I've done most of mine online this year.

I've a few bits left but they're bits I'll pick up doing my normal weekly shop. I've also got a couple of donations to make so I can pop receipts into cards, I'll probably do those today.

I tend to do mine at Christmas so still quite a while to go. Although you wouldn’t think that listening to the fucking radio. Playing Xmas songs early December, what’s that all about?

All done, weeks ago. And I did most of it online, availing of present-wrapping services too so it doesn’t look like someone wrapped it in the dark.

So I’m avoiding the queue in the post office this year.

In other years, I also let shop assistants help me. Go to a good shop, shop assistant asks if they can help ... say yes, tell them tour budget, the sort of thing you are looking for, and a bit about who you are buying for, and listen to the suggestions. That helped me many times when buying for teenage nieces, shop assistants coming up with better ideas than I would.

All done and presents wrapped. Don't like rushing around or queues.

we dont really do christmas in our family, we would rather spend the money on a family get together somewhere nice later in the year, hate that people feel they have to spend so much this time of year. so for me its a few small presants, less than a tenner, for close loved ones, and thats it really, all done online ages ago, as to food, well hate turkey, its like a crap dry chicken, and live on my own, so maybe a nice steak or something, that will do me, im not against christmas, but hate the way everything costs so much, dont have money to burn
