Well, to some people anal is considered the height of kink, others consider that to be fairly tame. Personally, I've not found anything that I don't enjoy, so I consider it all to be normal. |

My personal thought when I see someone describing themselves as kinky is similar to hearing someone describe themselves as whacky - they almost certainly aren't.

I have been asked a few times if I am kinky I then ask what they call kinky. I don't consider myself as kinky as I know what I like and consider my likes as normal to me it's things I am not into that seem kinky to me lol x |

Kinky is what OTHER people see.
I dont see myself as kinky, but others think tv/cd's are.
Its all a matter of subjective taste...but rather fun finding out |

I like to think I'm kinky but that's just because I'm up for anything , which for a single bloke is shocking to all I'm sure.
Can't think of anything that has been suggested to me that I haven't done but maybe that's cos no one has mentioned poo . |

What makes me kinky?
An interest in trying new things and pushing boundaries. Having fetishes, such as my love of latex. Enjoying more unusual play such as watersports, strap-on play, breathplay and e-stim. The sort of mind that can't go into a kitchen shop or a B&Q without forgetting what I went in for and coming out with new pervertables. The sort of brain constantly wondering why does that cause that reaction? How else can I get that reaction? How can I get a better reaction? What happens when I do this? Ooh, that was unexpected, can I do it again? What can I do with this? What happens when I...?
In the pursuit of further understanding and greater pleasure (both given and received) I've played with a lot of other kinky people. I've also, as a Top myself, given myself into the hands of an experienced Dominant and have experienced a lot of extremely kinky play, to see how it feels. I have the photos to prove it. |

I don't mind at all. I get "so what makes you kinky then?" and "how kinky are you?" a lot in my inbox. It's difficult to define, (and it's boring to keep being asked as part of one or two line messages because it takes a long-ish answer that is always the same).
My last regular play partner, who was the most wonderful deviant, called me 'kinky' (it was part of the inspiration for my name here). One look at the photos of things I've done and few would, I think, disagree I am kinky.
Funnily, some of the guys who've tried to manipulate me into playing with them have taken the, "Kinky? Prove it!" approach. That approach has a zero percent success rate for them so far as I know who I am, and what I enjoy, and I have nothing to prove (certainly not to strangers on the internet).
I just am |

Sounding? Breathplay? E-stim? Needle play? CBT? Nipple clamps and pegs etc? Branding? Scrotal infusion? Catheterisation? Enemas?

I've been thinking about changing my name actually. Getting so many 'what makes you kinky?' one-liners is boring. Plus too many misunderstand and think I am only looking for subs or that I always want D/s play. Sometimes I just want a bloody good fuck, without worrying about who is in charge!
My name also attracts wannabe Doms who can't read and assume a kinky female *has* to be sub. And if they aren't it's because they haven't met the right Dom yet. |

Your in a world I can't bullshit and say yes to, I've got to be honest and say I haven't heard of some of these things but the few I know really intrigue me, like the breath play, that's been on my mind for a while, I've experimented while wanking but the problem is I'm always in control and when your own mind is in charge the safety gauge kicks in way to early.
I'm not a fan of needles due to some injuries I have substances and the amount of needles I've had injected into me makes me despise them.
So I guess I'm falling into that "go on try me" catagory and failing .
Without knowing what specifics of the wordings i can't say I would but at the same time , is not being taken out of your comfort zone not what keeps us all ticking ?? |

A lot of people don't want to even go near the edge of their comfort zone. To each their own, but that's not my thing at all.
To me, the best thing someone can say to the suggestion of something new is 'tell me more about it?'
Incidentally, I haven't done all of the things on my list of suggestions above.
Scrotal infusion is a niche kink and has some significant risks associated with it. It also requires specialist equipment which is difficult to obtain in the UK.
Branding is also a bit of a niche kink! It's not something I am into.
I always think, however, that anyone saying they are "up for anything" doesn't really know what "anything" could entail!!!

It is a term I hate for similar reasons. Just people trying to sound edgy.
To go back to my earlier comment, It is obvious from your pics that you are kinky (profiles hid so can't comment on that). What I hate is when it is thrown in to a profile with no substance. We know what we like, what interests us and what we would never do. It's when people can't be specific that I get dismissive. |

"Kinky, you now scare me "
lol
The people to be scared of are the ones who read 50 Shades and think "I could do that" and don't bother trying to find out more first.
I started very gradually and there are still things I don't have experience of but would like to learn. Breathplay was on my list of "no way!"s for years before I'd learned enough.
There are two major paradigms in BDSM. The first is SSC - safe, sane and consensual. The other is RACK - risk aware consensual kink.
I follow the latter because although I try to be as well-informed as possible, and to do things as safely as I can, some of the things I do, and have done, really can't be called "safe".
For example, breathplay is not "safe" whichever way you look at it. |

"Branding is still technically illegal in the UK."
So, technically, is assault, regardless of whether it was consensual.
The legality of even owning photos of some BDSM acts is still a very grey area.

Yeah, the law came into force with little warning and very little clarification and despite various requests they seem unwilling to give clear descriptions of which acts are now considered obscene and which are okay.
Sometimes being a consenting adult is difficult!...lol |

Yeah, drawing blood from spanking is taking it to an extreme. Ideally the effects shouldn't be long lasting and cause any kind of long lasting discomfort. |

To my mind, kinky is the boundary region between what I'm comfortable doing and what I'm not sure I'd be comfortable doing - and that of course shifts after I've tried it! So I see it as fluid and different for everyone. |

I totally agree with this , I've used that line many a time but when you start to fully understand some of Kinks "pleasures" you kinda realise I'm up for anything but.......
It's a little similar to people who get tattoos nowadays , to be seen to be cool and not so much to do with having any sort of meaning . |
