My dad, he's the sort of person who will buy something for himself if he wants it throughout the year, so there's no point in taking notes when he says "oh I could use one of those".

Much to K's annoyance I appear to have inherited this trait

I only buy for my parents and kids. The 16yr old is hardest though...

Dad's always a bottle of Talisker, mum's usually something silly. Kids are whatever they're into at the time!
