I want to do a work related course that can help set me up with new skills and potentially more career opportunities.
I want to go on a coffee tasting session having got into home brewing recently.
I'd also like to fuck half the women on Fab but I think the first 2 are more realistic |

Great. I have done it before but got bored! Not for me. It's quite holistic though isn’t it. |

"My plan is similar to this one.
I went from fat to rotund.
Next year, I plan to go from rotund to being able to shop for clothing in proper shops. Oh "
I wish you all the perseverance. I would love to be able to wear a dress I wore 15 years ago sometime in the Spring. |

Are you looking at roasting your own beans? That’s something I’ve always wanted to do but just not possible |

Same here.
Coach is always pestering me about stretching. Which I now do as habit. I’d like to explore further with some more yoga too. |

I haven't yet, no. I'm still at very early stages where I'm trying to figure flavour profiles for each type of roast and seeing which one I like the best |

Next year will be building on this year.....
I have survived this year, without doing something stupid, so next year is the same goal with the hope of getting a bit of a life.
Small, to some, but achievable to me goals.... |

I would suggest buying some mocha beans. They are awesome. I am happy to pass on a roasters that I use. Small batch hand roasted and they are amazing as a company |

That would be awesome! There's a lovely place near me that does different flavour coffee beans so will check that out. I'm currently buying beans at coffee shops and asking them to grind them as I don't have one but reckon it would be a good idea to get one of those too |

Honestly I've no idea beyond "get my shit together" at the moment.
I'll figure out where and how to start and by the time my birthday rolls around (February btw.... gives y'all a chance to save for my presents) I'll have a plan.
That's what I've said since I was headed for 40 though..... so who knows.
I'm going to get a passport again though.

So what new things you are setting off to do in 2022? what will you try to improve? "
Ideally sell the former matrimonial home, buy a lovely motorhome and set off for eight months. West Country, Ireland, Scotland, then three months in EU and another couple outside the Schengen zone. Back here to winter. |

Yesssss! Yoga is my answer to everything. I felt crap yesterday, dragged myself to a yoga class and felt ace as I walked out. Lots of chaturangas so my back and arms are deliciously achy today. And I slept so well last night. I actually slept through my alarm! |

Health wise, this wasn’t a great year for me so I’m jumping in with both feet next year.
I’ve signed up for golf lessons, which will start in the spring and I’ve started running again but I’d like to do my first 5k.

Training myself to sight read music again..so I can turn up and play with other musicians and be a session player..( i used to be able to do this I've just not read music for years)
Collating all the music I've come up with and composed and monetising it online. There's method I've come up with for this, that's quite risk free also.
For the folks that have said they'd like to learn an instrument, go for it. There are youtube tutorials that can break down every song you want to play in bitesize portions...on most instrument these days..
get books on how to teach yourself to read music etc. It's never too late, one of the most fluent and impressive piano players I met recently only took up the instrument in his 60s ..his personality shined through in his playing |

I’m not sure. At the moment I’m looking at how I go about clearing up and working through the following:
My phone (photos, music, vids, apps)
Work laptop
Personal laptop
External hard drives
It’s not easy and it will probably take much of the next 6-9 months to sort through, but I like the idea of moving from physical to digital and digital to the virtual bin when something no longer brings value
We can use this thread to hold each other accountable |

Hopefully travel more and get to do a trip I had planned for last year
I’m going to take up dance classes for myself again - although I teach I rarely find time to go along to a class and I miss that, looking to try swing dance (no pun intended)
I’d also like to up my cooking game- I’ve been experimental during covid with having more time at home - have really gotten into Asian cooking so I’ll experiment more with that.
Otherwise I’m hoping to spend more time with a certain someone too xx |

It’s good to do classes, because they will teach you the correct form, which makes a big difference, then you can go onto YouTube which is what I do. There are so many on there.
Adrienne is a good one, and also Julia Marie. |

It was a busy day! Sorry I wasn't around to embrace and support your wonderful goals for 2022. If you are feeling stuck, the only way to change is begin.. anything! And I like the idea of using this thread for some sort of self accountability. So thanks to the person who suggested that.
I hope you all manage to declutter your minds and hearts and enter new year with a powerful faith that it can be better. That you can do better. |

So what new things you are setting off to do in 2022? what will you try to improve? "
You.
In the vagina.
Possibly with a grand stand finish all over your lovely tits.
Good thread |

I’m just going to continue training myself to tolerate being in this shitty world full of shitty people.
And to stop caring what anyone thinks since ultimately we’re all shitty and gonna be dead with nothing of worth to show,

Tolerating is fine. But it doesn't improve anything. Very nihilist?
Do you feel like this every day? |

Concentrate on my career more.. do some more courses to increase my skills et & maximise my earning potential.
