I haven't put the hot water bottle in yet, but I have got a fully fleecey bed set, from fitted sheet to cushion cases. Everything fleece and it's like being hugged all over by a Teddy bear.

I have a pooch who is lovely and warm...the downsides are his snoring is often loud enough to rattle the windows, he hogs most of the bed, and he has a tendency to do really smelly farts

On reflection, perhaps a hot water bottle would be a better choice

Do you spend ages trying to find the cold spots on top of the duvet too?

I have slept with my feet on the windowsill before now.

Wet socks are supposed to cool your feet down I just find it makes them worse once feet warm them up

I've not slept on a bed for 4 years.

I sleep on the floor, due to ongoing / increasing spinal problems, i find beds are too soft and make my condition even more painful.

It is noticeably colder if you sleep on the floor though.

I love my hot water bottles, especially one that's about 3' long that I can wrap around me.

My flat has no heating in the bedroom and very draughty windows, so it gets bitter in the winter. I've been known to sleep in a bobble hat under a duvet, weighted blanket and fluffy furry throw. Sexy, I know.
