"What has been ruined by an overabundance of it?
Salted caramel and brioche baked goods "
With you... I want my burger in actual bread not this sugary brioche lunacy.
Announcements and beeping get up my nose too. Continual beeping and "see it, say it, sorted" which isn't even a proper sentence. |

"Christmas Eve boxes. What next, boxing day boxes?
Thank god they weren't around when our kids were small. It would have been yet another call on our already stretched Christmas budget. "
O gorgeous one prey tell what is a Christmas Eve Box? |

It's a box preferably with the child's name on it, presented to children on Christmas Eve with things such as special Christmas pyjamas etc inside.
I'm not anti Christmas at all but I am anti the commercial aspect. I also love sending and receiving cards but only on birthdays and at Christmas. |

Especially when the on-Board Automatic Announcements are broadcast through the train followed moments later by the Guard, ooops, the Train "Manager" saying exactly the same! Duplication gone mad!! |

See I like our Christmas Eve box, though it's just a cardboard box I've wrapped. It does have the Arthur Christmas dvd in it (it's really old now lol) and some packets gingerbread men and a packet of sweets. With their Christmas PJ's. The kids change into their PJ's we watch the dvd and munch on our sweets and then bed for the kids.
It's kind of a nice little tradition and less arguing about getting changed and into bed |

I can understand that. Its the insistence on having everything new in it, small gifts etc.
We had traditions on Christmas Eve like watching the Father Christmas cartoon, hanging up the stockings, opening the cadburys roses or special biscuits |

I don't believe in all new just for the sake of it. Same with school bags in September if the old ones are tidy there's no need for new just because it's a new school year.

They were probably talking about the regret you'd feel for hours after |

Brilliant I’ve an image of you getting off them and chastising them.
‘You promised to ruin me for hours, that couldn’t ruin a Cadbury’s creme egg. |

"The overuse of the word "literally" by the yoof. Literally never in context.
Agreed.
Add to that, deliberately bad grammar used by advertising companies.
"
Argos -"save up to half price on.." holy mother of god, where do they find these imbeciles! |

Dick pics - I’ve played a lot of team sports so I’ve occasionally inadvertently seen some in the changing rooms but since being in a couples profile, I’m now subjected to them daily… …without asking or wanting to see them
Put them away guys…it’s not the thing that’s going to impress/intrigue either of us
