Who fits a skylight? Is it a roofer or a window person? I’m buying one and just realised that I don’t know who fits them!

Thats not a daft question. A daft question would be would my dog fit a skylight if I gave it tuna?
A roofer I would say. Purely because our window guy at work said he can't fit one and we will need a roofer. |

It is not a daft question and I will tell you why !
I said to my window fitter ... 'and will you check my skylight please. ' and he said ......
 'Is it leaking?' No says I.......
Then DONT TOUCH IT....... says he, and anyway a ROOFER does that.
So im settling for ...... If I thought it was a window fitter YOU are not asking daft questions. |

"U will need scaffolding up as well a good roofer should b able 2 fit it 4 u x "
You can often fit them from the inside without needing to go outside at all, so scaffolding isn’t needed. |

Im not sure of the size, he removed my old one, put new one in and fixed some tiles... £750 all in |
