I’ve booked my first reiki session for next week. Anyone had it before and can tell me what it’s like?

I've had reiki done on me once. It was a strange but good feeling. One minute I felt this energy going through my body, the next I felt cold. Then the heat came back into my body. Afterwards I felt very relaxed. I would definitely do it again. Hope you enjoy it OP x

I can't mail you due to filters. I'm a level 3 reiki practitioner - I teach it too.

Relax and enjoy

Thank you! I’m not sure what to expect but I’m open to the experience

People experience it differently. You may feel the practitioner's hands get very warm, you may fall asleep, you may feel peaceful and relaxed, you may drift off to a safe, happy memory. You might see swirling colours (pink, purple) which are closed eye visuals and indicate a state of relaxation. Some people become emotional afterwards, they have been so relaxed that anything they were holding in blurts out. You may feel sleepy for the rest of the day.

However you experience it it is right for you.

Didn’t know it could be so intense, but that all sounds really interesting. I’m looking forward to it! Thank you

Tried it once out of desperation, felt strange but did absolutely nothing for the problems it was supposed to solve. Tbh, at the time it was a recommendation and I didn't really know what it was or what to expect. Felt nice, enjoyed the session but certainly wouldn't pay for it again.

Done deep intense heat yoga. Japanese heat massage. Had cupping done yesterday to release all toxins and heavy metals.

All to do with the mindset, intentions, diet then the practise works better!
