I feel like I held my breath for all 50 of those laps! It certainly had all the drama.
I said it would be amazing to go to the wire in Abu Dhabi but to be going there equal on points...  Next weekend will be electric! 
Poor Ocon though, I wanted him to get that 3rd place.  |

Whatever you think - and I'm a massive fan of Lewis (setting fastest laps with a damaged wing? Insane) - it's been a cracking season and Lewis and Max are phenomenal drivers in phenomenal cars. Next week should be amazing hopefully and I don't think Max will take out Lewis.... But you never know....

His telemetry will show the truth in the matter..
A hell of a lot of confusion and a misunderstanding too. The Stewards haven't exactly covered themselves in glory today |

This is the funniest shit I've seen in a long time. It's in the rules . He got a penalty for taking a new ICE which is different from a whole new engine and nothing stopped Redbull and any other team doing it |

Lewis is not desperate and it is a level playing field. A level playing field is what the FIA, Race Director and Stewards are for.
Lewis and Max are both amazing drivers and their cars very very closely matched. However Max is much younger and a bit wild but he will calm into a truly great driver and eventually will appreciate the times he raced Lewis.

If verstappen took a new engine next time out the benefit would give hime the win. Other than hamilton taking yet another engine. Why not say new engines every race for hamilton and every other driver has to keep theres for the season. Isnt hamilton great...? NO...... |

fascinating race and season.
I like the Jeddah track for pace but it needs widening in places. Too dangerous currently. There's very little run off. We walked away without any hospitalisations in the F1 weekend, not so lucky in the F2.
These two drivers have pushed each other all season and its been a pleasure to watch:
Mainly because the drivers are so different. Lewis is a calm and pragmatic driver and Max drives with much more impulsivity and brassness.
I pick Lewis to win because he's likely more reliable. But anything could happen.
If it ends in a dog fight like today, we could see the winner being crowded in controversy.
sidenote: The stewards were never going to penalise Verstappen going forward for today. This is the tightest most exciting race in F1 history (or up there at the very least) No way the sport is going to jeopardise that. |

Previous champions have won in more superior cars for their era. When Schumacher won 5 in a row ferrari was the superior car, when Seb won 4 in a row Redbull was the superior car . Unless you're sating those 2 were also not great when they won. |

Previous world champions haven't done so in a Reliant Robin, the cars (generally) have been superior to the others. Hamilton is a great driver working with great tools, that's what F1 is all about. |

Never seen a race like it, love the skill needed to nail the track, but also think its the most dangerous track on the calendar - 200pmh blind corners. Todays F2 and F1 chaos proved that and we have this for 10 years 
Still annoyed at maxs' dirty tactics, definitely needs some adjustment to the rules re giving a place back - no re overtaking for at least a few corners or a lap.
With the one race win lead I can see a championship winning collision next Sunday.....memories of schuey come flooding back.

It has always been the case that the best cars attract the best drivers. Do you think Fangio, Schumacher. Mansell and Senna drove crap cars?
Lewis is a superb driver, as is Max. Just because you have some personal issues with him it is not fair to accuse him of things you cannot prove and have no evidence to support.
Just accept that this time next week we will know the 2021 world champion and it may be Max or Lewis. Either will deserve it and within the rules neither will have cheated. |

In what way did Lewis cheat during yesterday's race.
From what I recall, Max was the one that was handed out the penalties for dangerous driving and gaining advantages by cutting corners.
Max was also gifted a free pitstop.

I absolutely agree about the circuit. Having two red flags and a possible third makes this race about that, rather than actual driving.

I am not so bothered about the red flag thing… that tends to happen at street circuits… that track was just too fast for it’s own good.. you can see why the drivers would love it though…

Have you ever stopped to wonder why teams with championship winning cars or ambitions wanted an average driver to take their car to the top? I’d love to hear why Ron Dennis thought “got a really great car this year, must find someone shit to drive it” it’s almost as if … they know something you don’t, (or won’t admit).
Weird how The only driver Max ever had that lasted a complete season (Danny R, 2.5 years) scored more points, and had more podiums than Max did.
