Has anyone ever completely ruined a great song for you so you can never listen to it in the same way again? I was quite partial to Whole Again by Atomic Kitten until one day a guy I used to work with sang "you can lick my hole again". Game over. I've never been able to sing the correct lyrics since. And try singing Blue without saying "In Aberdeen I will die, in Aberdeen I will die, in Aberdeen I will die" - impossible. Anyone else??

Worthing

Whitesnake ruined a couple of their own classic songs with a later version. Fool For Your Lovin' and Here I Go Again.

It’s usually me that ruins a song for everyone else! I sing we’re having meatballs on the big fun song! My colleagues hate me

Atomic kitten. - ‘living on the dole again’ (whole again). You’re welcome.

There’s a whole song that goes with this…

I was walking past Greggs and some workie went to his van singing I love sausage rolls to the tune of I love rock n roll. Always sing that in my head now.

Also because of Bill Bailey I sing I've got ham but I'm not a hamster when All These Things I've Done by The Killers comes on.

Haha, Ace of Base songs were pretty Grimm. The sign was another - "I saw the sign, and she opened up her arse..."

I’m another one of those people who ruin songs sorry/not sorry.

Also “stupid little prick called Rick” has made me giggle. Don’t watch unless you want an Ed Sheeran song ruined forever

I thought she'd just had a good ride (I was a horsey girl)

Then I heard a dj on the radio laughing because someone had text in saying the same, I weeped and died a bit inside..

This post reminds me of the Maxell "at least that what I thought he said" adverts possibly in the 80s

with the misheard lyrics of Desmond Decca's "The Israelites & The Skids "Into The Valley"
