So I was just pealing veg, and my ring slipped off my finger (actual ring not a euphemism, get your mind out of the gutter ), and I started to wonder what jewellery people wore and what it’s signified, if anything at all.
I wear a single band on my wedding finger (not my wedding ring. That went long ago!) - it’s legend of Zelda, my other half got me - as a sudo engagement ring.
I have a black cord on my right wrist with white beads and a single black one, my gf has the opposite one (she got me the pair, I gave her the black bead with single white so we’d be matching).
I also, occasionally, wear a grey leather bracelet which has 5 rings on it. Each one has the name of one of my kids on it.
Don’t wear a watch. It’s nurse training and the “bare below the elbows” cardinal rule. |

Omg I literally have 9 rings on my hands.
The one that means the most is my dad’s wedding ring they gave me when he passed. 5 are rose gold plated , some have stones. 3 are 18kt gold (including my dads wedding band)
I have a Tiffany ring that I bought myself for my 30th
1 is silver. The least fave
Then I have 3 necklaces. One with a real mother Pearl on it , one has a K pendant for my name initial. And one has an amazonite stone
3 bracelets
And 3 earrings + 2 Huggies
It’s like I went to rob a jewellery store |

They are like earrings but they hug the ear so u don’t have to pierce more cartilage x u can put them on top of the ear or the middle part |

Usually I wear thin silver hoops, one in each ear.
They signify... They're easy to wear, hypoallergenic, and I don't want my holes to close up.
I wear nothing else of significance - I do occasionally wear a white gold chain which one of my first serious boyfriends gave me. I try not to think too much about that.
My other significant jewellery is tucked away. I might wear it again some day. |

I don't often wear rings or bracelets, though I have some beauties. I always wear earrings and usually a necklace too.
I have a pair of diamond studs I bought myself years ago, and a necklace with the word blimey on it. They're the pieces I wear most often, but I'm a bugger for a jewellery auction and I'm forever buying nice stones in rubbish settings and having bits of jewellery designed around them. |

I wear my wedding ring (made from blending hubby's and mine together as he never wore his!) my engagement ring and a ring I had made from some titanium my dad had when he passed away. I also have a Pandora bangle and a gold chain that has my eternity ring on |

On my right hand ive a white gold / diamond band that was from a friend before he died.
I've a opal ring next to it from Sir.
I've a Tiffany necklace from Sir also that I never remove. A day collar so to speak.
I've 11 piercings as well , mainly ears , but also navel, nipple and clit. |
