"Evening will fall soon ... and I will walk for an hour or so .....
Now I don't know why so don't ask me..... you tell me ...... Why do I prefer night walking ?"
I used to do this a lot when I was younger especially at this time of the year. I get up early so I’m fortunate to be able to see the sunrise and the day come to life. But sunset fascinates me as well. Watching the sun go down and the start of the nighttime shift and everything that it brings. Put my headphones on and stroll |

Because you are bursting with insightful thoughts and must find a way to give your mind rest lest it explode?
Or maybe because the best action happens at night! |

Its a time for peace and calmness, collective thought and reflection, it is in the darkness where thoughts and feelings are clearer to see once you shine a light on them |

"Because you become invisible to the world when your siluetted darkness joins the night? "
I actually think this is a lot closer to the mark than you think.
Ironically I feel less vulnerable at night, dunno about you GC? |

Being out at night in rural areas used to be a good part of my job. I loved it, being away from urban areas, traffic and light pollution. I could just listen to the sounds of the night, wildlife and such. I liked walking the dog at night too. There is a small country park we used to use and I could find my way round it in the dark. The best of those was a clear night after snowfall. You couldn't get cars up the steep approach roads so we hoofed it to the top. Didn't see anyone else at all and under the moonlight it was completely magical. I do miss that. |
