Usually I love to dress up, but I'm not feeling it this year. An Xmas jumper will be my go to for everything

I'm frequently accused of over dressing ( as if there's such a thing). A friend text me before we were due to meet recently "come scruffy". What a flaming cheek! I had to stop myself from texting back "no, you come smart"

One time of year it’s more acceptable to dress up a bit, then it’s a yes to dress up

Dress up... I tend to go for jeans, t-shirt and no makeup day to day, so it's nice to dress up to go out.

I love to dress up at Xmas. You can never sparkle too much over the festive season.

Just been to a small Christmas market. It was a million times better than the Manchester one I went to a few weeks ago. Loads of really good stalls, stupidly busy with happy people. All Christmassy now!

I have one obligatory black tie event and that's all the dressing up I plan to do this year. The prospect of sitting through 3 hours of listening to a bunch of farts talking about nothing does not fill me with festive glee.

If I had the occasion to go out, I'd dress up. But we rarely have the occasion (next weekend for the MLS being an exception!)

I loathe dressing up, as I always feel I look ridiculous.

I have two works dos next week and I'm planning on jeans and a titsy top for both of them. Fuckit, I'm washing my hair AND putting makeup on, and that's a lot more effort than I make 99% of the time.
