The place or the people?
I could go to the most wonderful place on earth (disneyworld) I am not affiliated and still find a couple of f’kers that would annoy my me and cause problems for others trying to have a good time.
It’s not the place, it’s people that can be rude. Your just focusing on the wrong people. |

I disagree, I find that Fab is a cracking place. Yes there’s some unsavoury characters about. But, once you’ve established who they are, they’re a piece of piss to avoid. No more problem, happy days. |

If you focus on seeking out the people who match your ethos then you’ll find them.
Create negativity and you’ll attract likeminded people. The same goes for positivity. It’s YOU that has the power to attract the right people.
If people are rude then maybe look at ways you can change that - be it your profile, your responses, your forum posts - they all help in defining how people see you.

Honestly op, your biog isn't very friendly so maybe that's the reason? Of course it's your biog and one can chose to display whatever one wants but I've found a friendly biog attracts friendly people!  |

Surely that is expected in a setting - like any social media - where it is possible to be entirely anonymous and there are very few consequences for one's actions. Unfortunately that has many consequences - views that would normally get lost in the corner of the day centre get amplified into gospel, individuals feel a need for validation and instant gratification and one can pretty much be as rude as one likes.....
All we can do is stick to the standards we would hope from others and hope that others do too.
Oh, and we get to look at naked people while doing it.

I guess if they're rude, it's often because they've often had people who don't understand a simple "not interested", but that's a poor excuse."
If you got hundreds of rude messages when you said a polite no thanks, or unsolicited disgusting messages/ pics, you'd probably be fed up too.  |

There’s rude people on and off of fab, I think sometimes it’s easy to think that the majority rather than the minority are rude on here, as it’s such a small bubble that you’re focusing on! I don’t entertain toxic people in everyday life, and have no time for them on here either, I’d rather focus on the positives Miss pc |

All the forumites who have never seen you before just encounter a pretty hostile persona and wonder how bad does someone have to be for YOU to complain.
A bit more Op explanation would be handy or it becomes all individual rants without context and no help to woman nor (Fab) beast. |

In the absence of context to Op thread we naturally either fill out with our own agendas (and thereby ignore Op problem) or look to inform by what you publically state on profile

Your assumption would again seem driven by some hostility around the "they" agenda but ignores the simple "we" of a couple on Fab.
Perhaps if you experienced things for yourself rather than pre-judging through others opinions you might get more out of Fab? Being open about an issue gets a more useful response. There are fuckwits but also a lot of smart funny open-minded SEXY people (capitals as that is the only thing to shout about)

Increasingly common behaviour unfortunately. Earlier today I got a message from someone whilst I was on and before I could even read the message I was blocked. I did find that weird. Even if it had been sent by mistake, that's all that needed to say. Anyway as you said, it's just how it is these days  |
