"I really liked the Talisman, he co-wrote it with Peter Straub. It was the start of the Dark Tower stuff."
Salem's Lot. And I also love Peter Straub's Ghost stories for same reasons. Both books are about a small town under siege by a visiting evil. |

Carrie, was the first book I ever read from start to finish in one sitting. So it’s probably my favourite.
Then ‘The Stand’ afterwards as I really enjoyed the book and mini series as well. One of the few I bet |

"To read it would be 11/22/63, it set my imagination alive. Brilliant book.
I have a thing for collecting stephen king hardbacks
"
Agreed. Awesome book.
Salems Lot and Christine are also firm favourites.
Got about 6 books in to the Tower series and kinda lost interest. It’s hard going, which is a shame as it’s supposed to link up many of his other books finally.

Worth sticking with the entire Tower series as eventually, everything comes together. A literary ka-tet, if you'll pardon the pun. |

I always loved the Dark half, abd Needful things. Honourable mention to Christine, If only for that line 'Brand-new, she was. She had the smell of a brand-new car. That's just about the finest smell in the world, 'cept maybe for pussy.' Which I feel has relevance to this site |

Should probably do that fairly soon before I forget where I’m at and face to start again
