Hi fabbers, today I collect my first pair of coloured contacts (hazel) since being in in UK.
So question, how important is eye colour to you and what are your favourite colours (also on black and mixed race people as well)? |

Its not a big deal for me but i do get enthralled by a beautiful pair of eyes.
I do get a few compliments about my piercing blue eyes though. Theyre a very birght sky blue with streaks of white |

I have brown eyes and didn’t use to like them, as I always found blue and green to be prettier but I have a nice eye shape and they are a bit bambish. So I don’t mind them at all now and always get compliments about my big brown eyes
On guys, I guess my fave are green eyes. Love guys who have green/hazel eyes. Like, my weakness
Dark eyes on guys are also hot |

Well they do say eyes are the window into your soul!
I'm more interested and drawn by the depth of colour and brightness than the colour. Long lashes also help!

I like expressive eyes too, I don't mind the colour. Although my long term partners have all had blue eyes.
Mine are very dark brown and it's difficult to see my pupils sometimes as my eye colour is so dark.
I have never considered contact lenses as the thought of prodding my eyes makes me squeamish. I still cannot watch Mr NBVN take his lenses (I call them his eyes) out each night and put them in the eye coffin.

I am a bit excited, my close male and female friends did an epic face palm when I told them I dying my hair (I did that last weekend) blonde (it's more like a reddish brown tbh, will re dye it and use more a bleaching product next time) and getting coloured contacts. They were like you're always complaining about getting a lot of attention amd you're doing this?
However it wasn't about wanting more attention, I just wanted a change, just to change things up a bit, been here just over 2 years, I'd never dyed my hair before so wanted to just try something new. I am eager to see how it will be perceived in public though. I'm feeling better enough now tbh to hit the gym today (thank God) and in off to London tomorrow to hand some business (and maybe a little pleasure as well) |

I'm blind so I've been using contacts for about 18 years now tbh. I've had coloured contacts on occasions in the past and it has definitely garnered attention.
Interesting you bring up that all your partners (long term ones had blue eyes) do you think you're subconsciously drawn to guys with blue eyes perhaps? |

"Not arsed once there not crossed."
Lol funny you should mention that, the muscles (and vision) in my right eye are very weak, so it's slightly crossed, and with hazel contacts that will be more noticeable, but I always weigh the pros and cons, and it's a trade off I'm cool with tbh |

"My eyes are brown, however I think I'm weird, never notice eye colours on other people. "
I don't either. Unless they're purple or some other crazy colour. |

It's an interesting thought and if so I wonder why I am more attracted to blue eyes, possibly the opposite of my own eye colour.
So can you have colour contacts on prescription lenses? If so that must be rather costly and you won't want to lose them.
My boyfriend was out on a training run up the mountains overnight and in awful conditions, which blew a lense out of his eye
OP I hope you enjoy wearing your new lenses.

Blue eyes are my kryptonite, green eyes second... Don't see them all that often. Not a fan of brown/dark eyes.
I have heterochromia, so my eyes are pretty much all the colours! And change depending on my mood.

Nothing wrong with a bit of change. My hair has been almost black, platinum blonde, purple, red, toffee brown, grey and every blonde through to dark brown. |

I have blue eyes. I've worn coloured contacts in the past but I do like my own eye colour.
I tend not to notice other people's eye colour unless they're particularly arresting - doesn't happen very often. |

No importance though looking back I was usually most mesmerised by greens and blues. Brown not so much. So maybe I do have a preference?
Its about how expressive they are.. and what's the range of that expression. Better be more than seductive purposes.. Have a depth. |

"Unusual colour eyes that stand out are what we like…but it’s the intent in them that’s just as important.
The eyes tell us all we need to know…
