It’s not just about sending random friends requests, it’s about saying hello to people, chatting, then sending the request!

Post that you’re in on the thread then send someone a message. Whether you’ve chatted before, they’re on your hotlist or you’ve never had the confidence to make a move, get friendly!

I have been on fab since 2007, on and off.

Recently returned and as another poster has stated most of the people I knew are mostly no longer on the site.

It would be nice to have new friends

Just popping in to say I joined this thread for the first time last week and I have chatted with some really lovely guys and have become friends.

I have to admit being sceptical at first to people just wanting to see my friends pics but the getting to know them has been lovely... thanks TM for a great thread.

I think that’s why it’s important to chat and get to know people a little first. Situations where people just randomly send friend requests can be a bit unnerving for many people
