It's one of those things that sound sinister but is ultimately fine.

sequencing would tell us the rate of variance in our genome, what diseases have a genetic component and what doesn't.

It could be used for so much good to understand how our bodies work and possibly help with genetic medicine once anti biotics start to outlive their usefulness.
