I just had worse than this and although at first quite upsetting and annoying to name a couple of feelings you have to realise we are not to everyone's liking every time. I recently spent 3-4 months with every night chat at length, here, on kik and text. Eventually had a positive social, followed by two more socials all 100 miles away for me but I was passing, then I realised it was going no further and had to ask the awkward but straight question as I figured the lady was so nice she might not want to hurt my feelings. Truth is I would have taken it better if I heard sooner there was no magic happening. We are still friends but on a level of chatting occasionally with no intentions of a physical meet. My point is although it seems to be a waste of your time as long as you didn't have wasted journeys and it's not a nasty ending just start again with someone else, there is someone for everyone, it's just a task finding them. |
