It's only a name (Yawn!)

Stag.

Vixen.

One ruts with other males (of its type) to assert dominance so getting sole access to (local female deer) called hinds.

For certain reproductive rights

(step right up ladies!)

The other is a female fox (cubs yet?)

One also spends time at events with only the boyos (I wonder why!)

The other is fierce and independent plus sexually attractive (to other foxes I presume)

So what's new in the world?

A strange pairing?

Or orchestral manoeuvres in the dark?

Maybe?

The stag is always spending time with the boyos (getting sloshed) and getting into fights over other women (who are not seen by foxy as foxy because they are hinds..assholes?)

So what's new in the world?

Is the Stag Welsh? Because that sounds like a typical Welsh International rugby day out

Apparently your aphasia is getting worse, that’s what’s new. Have you tried talking to the caterpillars?

Just calling out a name or two and adding possible flesh to bone.

My interpretation of the OPs theme or intention was to draw attention to the often used nouns of Stag and Vixen to denote a couple who wish not to be categorised as a cuckold couple?

Additionally the OP is concerned with the juxtaposition of the two nouns. I would suggest that the names don’t really correlate to the intention to denote masculinity on behalf the stag and the vixens feminism?

By way of an aside the term stag is also used to describe a turkey cock over one year old. I thought a little bit festive correlation may enhance the thread,

I do like these abstract posts; they are sort of like University Challenge for the great unwashed!

They make a change from the normal drivel of hotwives, snog marry or avoid or rate my cock. Post away The Resistor and make them festive!

I had to return to this as I now understand how my using of the word boyos could have lead you to that conclusion.

The Irish may have boyos among them too, I'm almost sure of that?

It would be good if someone could clear that up.

"Maybe? It is intended to be a strange pairing?

On You Tube you will actually discover some interesting pairings!

Like the bat that hitches a ride on an elephants ear flaps! Every morning just before sunrise!!

Why? No idea!

The chihuahua who is friends with a golden eagle!

Yet stops short of its talons!!

In truth I made those pairings up and they do not (to my knowledge) appear on You Tube together.

I think I shall depart the thread now and return to my wool blanket(s)
