Thinking about changing my car in the near future what's a reliable car that I should go for? I've got about 13000 £14,000 to spend? Or shall I just get a pedal bike

If you want a reliable car, look at what taxi drivers use. They rack up an obscene mileage. For that kind of money you can quite easily find youself a low mileage skoda octavia which are renowned for reliability, and being a 4 door saloon it gives you options.

Plus depending which generation you go for with the price range, you can pick up the sports line octavia vRS, dont know the exact specs but those have some serious grunt and bang for your buck, and actually look really nice. Ive seen some of those vRS ocatavias go for as little as 4 grand giving you a shit ton of disposable cash for whatever you like or put away a chunk of it for any future servicing.

Another vote for Skoda, I have a Fabia and it has given me years of reliability and kept me safe and sane on endless Scotland roadtrips. Soon to be replaced by a Vauxhall and I'm gutted tbh

Market Harborough/ Kettering

Second hand car values are going mental. My current car is one of the first Ive had that is worth nearly £10k more than the finance settlement and its "only" lost about £10k in the 3 years Ive had it!

Worthing

Porsche Cayman if you want one of the best handling sports cars. Yes 911 is faster but you will get a better drive with the Cayman. Cheap Ford for shopping.

It's because there's some computer chip shortage so they can't build as many new ones! This means that the rental car industry is hit as car companies aren't leasing them out and it's all a knock on effect.

Wair for the ew car supply chain to open up again.

Used car values are hugely inflated right now and will drop 20-30%.

Don’t buy electric unless you know it’s battery is in good condition. It may sound obvious, same way you’d look over an engine, but those batteries are a fortune to replace!

For Christ's sake never do this. You'd then be a cyclist and hated by all other road(and pavement) users and you would also lose the ability to see the colour red.

Another vote for kia they use the sportage in NY as a cab, prices are high at the mo don't be scared to haggle you can easily get 2 grand off the window price and don't get the warranty, they are worthless.

Some top cars at Trade Centre the sales tactics are topps too.
