By, Royal mail and dpd ect. I've had 3 left in my waste wheelie bin. 1 large one left on door mat. And 1 massive one behind wheelie bin. But might as well stuck a neon sign on it saying "exspensive branded coat here"

I had an Amazon delivery once where they claimed to have left it in the shed.

I'm in a second floor flat.

Never did find out what had actually happened to it.

Paradise, Herts

Threw it through the living room window and it landed on a candle I was burning

"Threw it through the living room window and it landed on a candle I was burning "

One of my cousins has a downstairs loo next to the front door.

She's had to make sure the kids always close the seat in there after parcels were repeatedly fed through the window only to fall straight into the loo.

Inside the hallway. To be fair I'd left the door on latch because I'd just brought some shopping in but still. No knock, just the parcel in the hallway.

Had a message to say it had been left in the back garden in our old place, but we didn't have a back garden. Turns out they had chucked it over the fence onto the main road on the other side.

It took me 6 months to find some chisels from Amazon.

They said they left them in my greenhouse, I don’t have a greenhouse.

I did however have a children’s slide down at the back of my garden. And over winter, nobody went near it, . Just simply why put it on the top of the slide and call it a greenhouse?

Under the front door mat. Ironically it was a back door mat that I’d had delivered

Did it feel like Xmas when you finally found it?

We have a wooden box by the front door. One year my sister carved a pumpkin and put a stuffed baby grow in its mouth for Halloween and put it on top of said box. The card we got from the postman read 'parcel under baby eating pumpkin'

Actually yes. They had sent out a replacement, so I now had two. A rusty one that needed some work to restore, but that was something to do. but I still have questions unanswered to this day. I may have to give the idea to a Netflix’s unsolved mysteries.

Note said "left in garden"

I have a small garden, just a lawn, locked shed, didn't take long to search for a medium sized box.

Not there.

Turned out it was left with a neighbour three doors down.

I'm on reasonable terms with my neighbours, always happy to take in parcels, and they do the same. But it helps if the card says who actually has it.

Not odd but tracking said delivered to a neighbour and a photo was taken of next doors driveway so I went round to collect it.

Apparently she had no idea about it so I was a little confused and annoyed as it was something I needed that day and I thought she was just having me on. The guy next door to her came out and asked if the parcel he had was for me... I don't understand how you can take a photo of the wrong house?!

My daughter had a text to say her parcel had been left with the next door neighbours but she checked with both sides and it wasn't there. Then she remembered she was home in Leeds for the holiday and hadn't changed the delivery address from her student house.

Had an amazon driver knock my door to tell me he'd put my parcel on the porch roof. In a thick Russian accent he said "parcel on roof, very safe" and walked off!

Took me 10 minutes to get it down still laugh about it now though.

"Would you be more upset if it wasn't delivered? Just asking"

I waited in till six yesterday, it didn’t arrive. I’ve just contacted them, they say there’s no other way, I have to wait in all day today, again.

I’ve contacted the supplier and made a complaint, I’m waiting for a response now.

Similar to my experience. I was cleaning the downstairs loo. Heard a noise behind me to find an Amazon delivery man putting a parcel on my kitchen work top having walked in through the closed but unlocked back door, walked through the garden room and into the kitchen.

Funnily enough I didn’t even know it was there, only when I took the trash out I saw it in the bin

I've had this ...the dog wasn't best pleased about an uninvited visitor stepping into the house (rude)...and it's never happened since

by the big field

Never use Hermes for anything valuable or breakable (actually, just don’t use them full stop)- total fookin shambles.

Threw a lens over a 7ft gate, in the rain, onto a pile of building rubbish waiting for a tip run- then forged my signature and didn’t leave a delivery card. Denied doing it until they were sent the CCTV footage

Next time, item marked as glass, dropped over the same gates on to concrete- did exactly the same with the replacement, despite the fact I was in as they couldn’t be bothered to knock the door

Sent an item out, tracking showed it as delivered, then in transit, then delivered, then out for delivery for four days- then they couldn’t find it.

Sent them a picture of the parcel, distinctly marked up with high visibility labels...they found it and promptly returned it instead of delivering it as promised...over a month after I sent it, by which point I’d moved house so had to do a 30 mile round trip to retrieve it from the new owners. They then had the cheek to try and refuse a refund and compensation as they’d marked it as delivered

Gapping Fanny

Oddest has been the wrong address, as it wasn’t even close to ours and was a few toads over.

Otherwise its left at the front door to a block of flats.

And buttoned up too, to be safe
