So I'm a cheap skate and all my leggings are cheap and paper thin. I don't wear underwear but on the rare occasions I have they're completely see through, you can see the underwear clearly.
I've noticed many other women that wear fairly see through leggings with their underwear showing. Do people think it's sexy or tacky?
I suspect male and female views will differ here...
I don't think it's a particularly classy look, one of the reasons I prefer none.

I go commando under leggings, though my leggings are all made for climbing, I never wear underwear when climbing its restrictive and dangerous. Don't wanna be chewing cotton midway through a manoeuvre  |

Mikes and I both love woman in leggings!! And being honest seeing a panty line of any sort is a turn on for both of us…..depending on the wearer also of course!! 
As for wearing them, I never go commando, but actually find it a turn on to know people can see my underwear thru my leggings or the outline of them if I’m wearing sports ones! I let Mike pic a certain pair and leave them out for me before we go out!! X |

My leggins are usually too thick to be see any VPL through.
Having said that, once, I saw a photo of my knickers showing through a pair which have since gone in the bin.
Not classy. Trashy in my opinion.

Depends on setting really
Out shopping and such would say it’s a no no
Out at a club or pub or such then it’s a yes yes
Just like any clothes they have they place and settings

Exactly this! Good quality (and correct size) leggings for working out in should not be transparent, if they are you are wearing badly designed/made leggings or the wrong size.
There are some really awesome brands out there who make squat proof leggings.
If it was dressing up for kinky RP I would understand, but just for daily wear I agree it's not a good look.  |

No seams works. My leggings are mostly good fabric though. I just got some cheap Christmas ones and the quality is shocking.. they seem so thin. I've to take a pic from behind to check panties situation |

I think there's a time and a place. I remember seeing a mum bend over in the ball pit at soft play and her leggings were so see through I could see the pattern on her Bridget Jones knickers. It just was Just not the right place and was trashy. I tend to cover my bum with normal leggings unless I'm at the gym and wearing thick workout leggings or the til tock bum scrunch ones, in which case is a thong!  |
