Market Harborough/ Kettering

I'm feeling spontaneous and am going to book a hotel for night on Saturday but where to go? Something simple like a Premier Inn within 2 hours of London. Where do I go and why?

I suppose its a typical UK "kiss me quick" sea-side town which is not a bad thing, might be a bit chilly though

Bath, Winchester, Oxford, Stratford upon Avon, Cardiff, Warwick, Peak District ?

All depends what you’re in to?

East London

Brighton? We went in November and there was still plenty open. Was a bit cold and wet though.
