Has the ‘Hot Photos’ gone downhill?
There seems to be a trends of begging for Fabs i.e. ‘Fab this picture if you’d have me’ - usually not put that well.
Does this ruin it for the genuine hot photos, and the people who don't beg attention?
I hardly visit it any more as a result. I simply use the category search and find better pictures and people.
It is a shame as I used to love it.

I only view the new pictures. I would hate to be on the top 10 pages and have a inbox full of people that don't read profiles.
I guess it's different people's style of photos.. I do think erotic style should be top of the board but that's just my opinion. Face + full body will always gather more attention. |

I’m curious who the ‘genuine’ hot photos are - as they’re all on there because a lot of people thought the picture was worthy of fabbing - whether you like the picture or not.
As for ‘begging for fabs’ - many if not all of the ‘hot photos regulars’ (and I used to be one so I kinda know what I’m talking about) are there by design - some are simply more subtle than others.
Whilst a few openly ask for their picture to be fabbed - others will accept all friend invitations (therefore ensuring every pic they post appears on many updates) - or put up provocative statuses. Others frequent the chat rooms after posting a pic to boost views/fabs.
Personally I ‘left’ hot photos because I got bloody sick of the constant sight of myself on there - and assumed others felt the same way!
Personally I’d love to see a limit on the number of pictures people can post per week/month - to prevent the current situation - the same people on page one day in day out - with new people rarely if ever getting a look in.
However - others clearly like seeing their ‘favourites’ there day after day - and the current regulars clearly think the pros (attention and ego boosting) outweigh the cons (many, many messages from people many miles away or not your type - so you miss messages from people you might actually be interested in. Also you appeal to people who see you as a trophy of sorts rather than a person).
I’m looking back from the benefit of hindsight though. |

We don’t look at the hot photos often but when we do it just seems to be people who show their faces. A nice smile seems to get more fabs than a nice pair of boobs |

You raise some great points, but I am referring to the ‘Fab if you’d Fuck’ pictures that actually have the wording super imposed on them.
The other day I counted 5 on the first page.
I do take your points that there is other ways of getting attention and traction, maybe equally or more successful too.
When I say genuine, I am on about some gorgeous ladies with erotic or arty pictures, who just go under the radar due to certain tactics. Rightly or wrongly, but it caused me to ponder.

I know a few for forumites who have what i would call hot photos.
I don’t view the hot photos list…I used to watch top of the pops and get angry at half of the songs in the top ten, I don’t want to go through all that again. |

I think the pictures with fab if you’d xxxxx written on them should be rejected. I’m regularly page 1 on hot pics, have only 17 friends and don’t go in the chat rooms so I get there on my pictures own merit which is how it should be. |

I’m the same, and occasionally I get up there, mostly I don’t, and I’m ok with either.
It’s just a bit of fun, not a need or for validation.

Those that made it, its what they wanted, it was probably a nice boost and made them feel good.
If the fab 'begging' works for them then go for it, if that's what you want!
I don't think it would work for everyone, I certainly wouldn't get on there with or without begging 
Plus we can't disagree that those that do end up on top are very beautiful people!  |

I don't see why hotpics are such a issue for some on here. If people want to post and get their pics up there then fair play to them that's their thing. No one forces anyone to fab pics and those who think fabbing a pic will lead to getting a shag are deluding themselves anyhow.
I find the bitchyness surrounding the hot pics absolutely ridiculous and petty tho . Between those who constantly bitch about the people who are up around the top to the point that some stop posting because of the what can only be called jealousy of others,and then you get the ones who think getting to the top makes them better than others also. It is quite laughable how seriously people take it.
I'll fab a pic if I like a pic. And I'm sure that's what a lot do. |

I’m not sure many of the ones who regularly feature on page 1 beg for fabs. They are often long standing fab members who have built up a collection of fab friends & admirers for which I say go them..
I post pictures that I like of me.. purely because I’m pleased with how I’ve styled them and think yeah I look alright.
I’m not bothered how many fabs I get I just get a kick out of putting photos up that I like of me and I’m a bit of a show off! I don’t need that to be confirmed by others. |

My "pics you fabbed" is some of the best porn I've ever seen. It would be tho, I prefer pics to film and amateur to pro. They're all pics I adore. I have quite the collection now too.

A great photo is a great photo no matter how it's promoted. If you dislike one don't fab it and look at the next one, there's plenty of them! Fab if you like will get them some extra fabs no doubt - men will obey every time even if it's a pic of their mother in a gimp mask, if it says the magic words it will be fabbed!! We're very predictable creatures. |

I don’t really understand why it’s an issue for some one here how others run their fab profile.
Funnily enough if you do look at the profiles on the hot pics I can’t see any asking for fabs. It’s a very small amount of people that do ask and so what if that makes them happy it’s not affecting you at all, let them enjoy it |

I don't look often, just go to categories usually and recents now and then.
As for the writing things on photos, I don't think that's really going to generate many more fabs than it would get without it asking for a fab or fab if you would etc.

I don't think it has gone downhill since I joined a few years ago. It's pretty much the same kind of pictures when I look. But honestly Hot Pics has never defined who the hottest women on this website are. It's all down to personal taste, well for me anyway. |

Sometimes pics that are top of the hot photos don't really do anything for us and other times a picture on page 20 we think is incredible and worthy of top spot.... we fab what we like (weather asked to or not) and look at the pics we like regardless of the page there on.
The good thing about fab is that anything you read or see that you don't like is just a swipe of a thumb and its gone |

Some look great, some don’t appeal to us but I guess we aren’t their target market.
We’ll fab a well taken pic and enjoy the ones that get us going…whether they are on hot pics or local updates.

Let’s face it everyone to a degree enjoys some form of attention, we’re all here showing our bits off and posing for pics to entice someone otherwise what’s the point of being on here.
I’ve a vast amount of photos on my profile, I’m an exhibitionist, confident, comfortable in my own skin and I like to show it off, am I an attention seeker…maybe, but I’m not here with the solitary aim to be on page one, sometimes it happens and when it does I’m flattered, that said if it is a goal for someone else then crack on!
