I'm no help other than Tequila Rose is delicious. I'm sure it's just a strawberry smoothie really and there's no tequila in it.

I've never actually had straight tequila. I don't think I want to

I wanna taste your tequila.

I’ll accept it might not be wise and I’ll wear some old shoes.

It's an experience It used to be my favourite shot but once you've been ill on it a few times, it kind of puts you off.

Definitely think I'll stick it in a cocktail first. Thinking a margarita.

Don Julio is my go to. I prefer Reposada to Anejo, which is darker and aged longer, it's easier to drink for my tastes. Pour in a whiskey tumbler with a large lump of ice and sip.

Patron is easier to find, but I think it's over priced. Still a good drop tho.

For a budget tequila try Ocho white.

I firmly believe the reason people hate tequila is they've only ever d*unk it when they're already hammered on beer and or wine. This is a recipe for disaster. Shooting shit tequila with salt and lime on a belly full of beer is asking for trouble.

There are loads of nice sipping tequilas out there. Go for a golden tequila, aged in oak barrels - it's good on its own, in cocktails, or coffee

St Austell

I used to do Tequila shots back in the day, when I worked at a US military base...

....the most fun ones were when instead of pouring the salt on the back of our hands, we'd wet the ladies' necks with kisses, add the salt, do the shot, lick the salt off...

....then go for the lemon wedges they'd be holding between their teeth...

....one night a blonde Captain developed her own very sexy variation - she was wearing a plunging tight V-neck top...

....she poured the salt down the valley between her breasts - and stuffed the lemon slightly further down...

....guys were crawling over each other to do shots with her!

Cuervo Gold was always the go-to...

Patron cafe is my favourite. Sadly they've elected to stop making it, but there are still a few bottles to be found.

Try the Cazcabel version. It's a decent replacement.

Beds (or anywhere beginning with B..!?)

You could take a look at masterofmalt dot com and check out some of the resparado tequilas ...aged in oak barrels they can taste quite lush ...if that's your thing

Somewhere

Don Julio Blanco would be my first choice. Herradura Reposado is nice sipping tequila or Herradura Silver for a margarita
