Not people but topics. Rarely post in the game type threads or the fuck kiss avoid threads.

Just because I may not get in with a person I’ll still offer advice or do a contribution if they’ve posted a good thread.

No, most of the time I don't notice who has started a thread. The only threads I avoid are situational, where someone repeats the same cycle of behaviour over and over and gets exactly the same results over and over. I've already sympathized or commented on an earlier cycle, I can't add anything I haven't already said the first half dozen times the poster had the issue.

I try so hard not to post to threads created by certain people but i just can't help it.

Yes I do on a daily basis.

Some because of their previous belligerent and misogynistic comments and some for repeated misandry.

Unfortunately a lot of people have very short memories and forumites who just a few short months ago were being lambasted for every post they made are now hailed as popular contributors.

I avoid their info gathering threads because I know from conversations at a few group socials that private stories and info is being shared.

I'm sure they all have their own endgame. While it's eye-opening to see how intelligent people ignore what goes on it is also uncomfortable that people who have been removed from private chat groups for their predatory behaviour are gaining an air of respectability due to their new and improved forum personas.

I chat to very few people and meet rarely but if I am fully aware of what goes on then surely those who are much more invested will know also.

I like the Lounge but don’t post to certain threads on other fora, because of sexism (I allow ‘her’ to send her kecks to other men - erm, fuck off back to the 70s you twat), or if it’s a sexual topic that I can’t relate to.

A discussion is one thing but that involves a number of opinions being debated in a civil manner. I'm blind to race, creed, colour and gender in any discussion but it doesn't take braille to see an arsehole.

Discussion's can get heated, it goes with the territory. A swinging site is probably not the best place to expect a civil debate.

Be fair. You took one line out of context and made it fit your argument which could have been made in isolation.

I agree with what you say that we can have civility AND I agree with what 'thingy' said ...
