People might not agree with me. But I think women have a stronger backbone than men so they're happier to share more photos that would mean people recognised them.
Just my two cents, don't shoot me |

Showing your face gets more fabs.
I personally don't think bits got anything to do with bravery. If you choose to show your face and are aware of *all" the possible outcomes that's great. If you show your face unaware or all the possible outcomes that's naivety |

I’m no psychologist but maybe it’s a spill over of the whole insta generation? I dunno, just speculating.
Across the more vanilla social media apps I get the impression that again it’s more the ladies that post lots of selfies etc compared to men (they seem to on Twatter anyway, even those I follow as supporters of my team on football Twitter) - “Off to the game!” - selfie. “Post match drinks” - selfie. The men not so much.
The endorphin hit of ‘likes’ etc is a big thing and while it applies to us all - men, women, non-binary etc etc maybe it’s more of a thing for women who society (rightly or wrongly!) seems to expect to have to look good? |

Who are these women with face pics?
The vast majority ive seen dont even have a head let alone a face
Not saying that i dont recognise a need for discretion is important though |

Of course the only issues with face pics of how do you know they are real or even a true representation of how that person appears?
I mean what if a guy posted 2 pics on the same day, one clean shaven and the other one with a full beard? How would you know which is the real one? |

It’s because of the general public reception of finding someone you know on here
Female = brave, sexually liberated, knows what she wants etc
Guys = ew what a pervert, creeping around on a swingers site |

"Going by the number of profiles of women with face pic vs men with face pics, I have concluded fab women are gutsy. Men not so much "
I like your mushroom hat. |

That's 100% not the reaction most woman would would get! Slut, cow, prostitute would most likely be flung at us. |

The stereotypical reaction to people looking for casual sex is more often:
Women: slut/slag/easy - used with negative connotation
Men: lads, lads, lads! Get in there! - used with positive connotation. |

I just think it saves time if people can see what I look like. If anyone recognises me on here, what are they going to do in the non-Fab world? Tell my family? Maybe not, because that would mean admitting they're on here too. |

"I've seen many female face pics on single male profiles, where the male doesn't show his face.
"
They shouldn't get through like that. Everyone should be hidden in some way except the owner of the profile. |

I show my face on here, always have.
I’m single & not ashamed to be on here. Plus I don’t have a public facing job so no issues with that.
I’m not brave or courageous because I do though. |

I was about to say something similar.
Sexually liberated and not ashamed.
Most of my vanilla circle know about my lifestyle so I’ve nothing to hide. |

I have always had my face pics up, despite hating pics of myself... I wanted people to be sure they actually found me attractive, before messaging |
