"Road position is more important than indicating
No bud, indicating is key. You literally indicate to others where you are going."
But, but, if you're in the left lane of a roundabout with your right indicator on and you want to take the third exit… road positioning is important |

"Elbows off the table.
Our FOUR year old refuses to eat his dinner if anybody has elbows on the table. "
You have a very wise little person in your household |

"Pardon and excuse me-seem to be completely lost these days!
And shoes off in the house "
When i courteously step to the side and wait to let someone by at a narrow pathway and they just walk past without even looking in my direction nevermind saying thank you. Fucking infuriates me |

Do you do that passive aggressive "you're welcome"? I do...and I'm loud or when they push past, tutting and huffing, when I've had no idea they were trying to get past, I like a loud "an excuse me would have sufficed"
Also people holding doors open, when did society stop doing that, especially lift doors. Or helping parents with prams on steps. |

I actually have to avoid doing this cos if they get confrontational with me they would be safer manhandling a hornets nest |

I'd say people that unload their problem/ responsibility on to others, instead of dealing with it themselves. This can have a range of concepts. To the way governments behave with land they preside over, to the way corporations behave, to the way family members act in personal relationships.
One thing that pissed me off recently, (although it's not the end of the world) was i got a new carpet fitted in a room. The fitter did the job quickly then left. When i went outside though, there was a mountain of packaging that he'd just dumped outside the front door. (It took 2 binfulls to recycle). This is kind of typical though i find with a lot of the services you get, in many fields. With the NHS I'm always chasing up things that haven't been done (prescriptions etc.) because no-one's checked, or followed through with what they should be doing.
Sometimes I think I'd like to live in Germany where things are super efficient. .Though i was speaking to a German lady that moved to the U.K. and she said that everyone is super obsessed with their jobs and take efficiency too far..she said she found people more laid back here, more friendly, more warm...

When food shopping realise other people are shopping.
Don’t leave your trolley blocking an entire section While you think.
Don’t block an entire section with your body while you think.
I’ve gotten to the point where I’ll just reach over people to get what I want. They look so shocked when you do it. |

Just saying Thanks or Cheers or Ta mate, anything to acknowledge some form of human service. Just been served at the supermarket? Acknowledge as you leave. Been let in at a junction in your car? Wave/flash. Got your pint? Cheers mate. No one expects you to bow to a vending machine but if it’s an actual living breathing person and you treat them like a machine and blank them, it’s utterly obnoxious |
