Those little angry nut cracker soldiers, they scare me… so James bought a little one and keeps hiding it, behind the milk in the fridge so I jump when I see it, or in my fav mug so I find it in the morning. |

Nothing religious, wtf has that got to do with Christmas? outside, door wreath and twinkly tree lights. Inside, tree and a few bits of tinsel on the ground floor and 1st floor only. |

I wouldnt put those foil decs up like the ones that go from the light to each corner of the room... that said i do really like them they remind me of my grandma... its just not my style.
Im hugely into christmas (Greek Orthodox) its a very foody month and go all out with food, baking and decs but more wreaths (every downstairs door has one) fireplaces and stairs all have homemade garlands thats more my sort of thing. |

"We used to call them 'garlands'. Decorative streamers strung from corners of room ceiling to the middle. More trouble putting them up/taking down than it's worth! "
And leave marks in the ceiling when they're put up with drawing pins. Why? Just why? |

"I'm not a fan of tasteful wood and tartan ribbon type decorations.
I like hugely gaudy shiny and brightly coloured tacktastic decorations, subtlety has no place in my flat!"
I am very much the same. Don't like it when it looks too professional. I like Christmas tat!!! |

If you can't spray paint your entire flat with glitter at Christmas then when can you?
My favourite decorations are hideously tacky lurid 1970s plastic ones that I inherited from my parents. Even I know they're hideous but my tack-loving heart sings every time I see them! |

I don't particularly like tinsel. It never goes on my tree but my children love it so we end up having it somewhere.
The hanging/streamer bright coloured things we used to have up when I was a child that hung from the ceiling and always fell down.
Coloured lights.
Anything blue/pink/purple or any other colour that isn't red or gold.
A gonk. I don't understand the fascination with them, they are just weird. |

I had a boss who had phobia of tinsel, we wrapped it around everything in his office, it didn't go down well |

The ones you hang up, the ones that light up, the ones that move, the ones that are up now, the ones that are still up well into next year, the ones you use once and then throw away. |

I hope it wasn't a genuine phobia |
