There must be some benefits to getting older, surely??
We've mentioned the opposites in the other thread ...
How about the fact as you get older it's easier not to give a damn, and you're wiser to seeing through the BS ... for starters   |

I've found we have stopped worrying what anyone else thinks about us and we are just living our best lives, pleasing ourselves.

Hiding your favourite foods.
There's noone to tell me off. Siblings used to grass on me for hiding my favourites at the very bottom of the box when I was younger. |

As you age you become more tollerant of the opinions of others, be they stupid or bright, and less inclined to think of every battle as one to be fought to the death. That calmness and maturity gives you time to think and react appropriately.

I’ve definitely become much more in control of what I want, I’ve pushed more boundaries in the last month than I have in my life, and I give no shits what anyone else thinks.
I think I’ve also become a much more considerate lover to whoever I’m with, mainly because I’ve relaxed more about sex in general. |

Decisions. Able to be much more decisive.
Worry. Not giving so many fks what other think and letting that bind.
Calmer. Don’t get as excitable, but also find it easier to stay calm.

At our age we find that my wife is finding it increasingly difficult to have penetrative sex. The natural vaginal lubrication is not there and we have to increasingly have to use lubricants. We have found that used open bottles unless kept refrigerated and clean can cause vaginal irritation. We tend to use replens which the NHS have subscribed for us.
Old age sex is not that easy. We persevere but we are in the end days. |

Lots of things become easier as you get older. As confidence and experience increases it's easier to deal with difficult situations or awkward people. For a lot of us our financial situation is easier and therefore life in general.  |

Hopefully true for most... finances get easier or we learn the value of things |
